Old West, New Mexico

My recent trip to New Mexico was a pleasant surprise. I have passed through the northern part on the Amtrak and definitely admired the beautiful landscapes. From this experience, I thought New Mexico was just an extension of Arizona. Boy was I wrong. New Mexico has long and wide rivers weaving around mountain ranges formed by volcanoes. Lush forests and historic architecture. Also, the people are so much more friendly.

Here are some of my favorite images from my time in the Land of Enchantment:

Kiwanis Cabin
Sierra Blanco

Abandoned Rail Yard
Along the Cedar Creek Trail in Ruidoso grows tall Ponderosa pines. They create a nice shady canopy perfect for hiking on hot summer days. Although Ruidoso and Sierra Blanco stay mostly cool due to its high elevation.
