This scene was a common occurrence for months. My wife and I lived on Front Street for years and would walk up and down when allowed. On this day, right before sunset, normally bustling with thousands of people, dining, shopping and enjoying their vacations, it was barren and empty. A shocking scene. Today, this image, brings sadness and joy, depending on the day.
