Granite Cliff Studio

After a sub freezing night a walk around Cook’s Meadow in the early morning results in the sun helping evaporate all the frost amongst the trees and grassland. This helps display a mist and fog highlighted by the low sunlight. This was such an amazing moment to experience and required all my thought to what settings were going to create the backlight and not over or under expose the shot. I will remember this walk for along time, the way the reaction looked like smoke rising along the tree trunks was mystic and breath taking.
