Description

A more recently planted Sugar Maple near the Yosemite Chapel is the first and brightest sign that fall has arrived. Planted in the early 1900s the Sugar Maple is a non-native species but is protected for historical reasons and a reminder of the travelers that have passed through Yosemite Valley and even made their home there.
