Description

One of my favorite spots to enjoy the Merced River. This bend is a great spot for people to play volleyball, swim and raft. I went out this night to use a new tripod and it turned out to be so beautiful. It was early in the night, around 8pm. I used my headlamp to illuminate the trees that recently lost all their leaves. Normally, this area is all lit up with fires and campers but in the winter it is dark and quiet. The water normally rushing with snowmelt was calm due to a quiet winter this year.
